Privacy Policy

Effective: May 10, 2026

tl;dr We collect your email when you join the waitlist or contact us, and payment data via Stripe when you eventually pay us. That's it. We don't track you across the web. You can ask us to delete your data any time at hello@sikhaygroup.com.

This policy covers Sikhay LLC (a Wyoming, USA limited liability company) and the brands we operate under it: Sikhay Group, Sikhay .io, and Sikhay Direct. We refer to ourselves below as "we," "us," or "Sikhay."

What we collect

We collect only what we need to do the work. Three buckets:

Email address

When you join the waitlist or contact us, you give us your email. We store it with our email provider, Resend, so we can reply or send launch updates you've asked for.

Payment information

When you eventually pay us for an engagement, the payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly — we never see or store the card number. We do see the basics Stripe shares with us: name, email, billing country, transaction amount, and an anonymous payment token.

Traffic analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages get visited. It's privacy-first: no cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. Cloudflare collects aggregate counts only — page URL, referrer, browser type, country — not individual visitors.

How we use it

  • Reply to your inquiries and discovery-call requests.
  • Send you launch updates and journal entries you've opted in to.
  • Fulfill engagements you've hired us for.
  • Issue invoices and process payments.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
  • Improve the site (which page is confusing, what's working).

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to target you with ads on other websites.

Who we share it with

We share data with the small set of vendors that make this site work. Each one has its own privacy policy worth reading:

  • Resend — email delivery (waitlist updates, contact replies, transactional emails).
  • Stripe — payment processing and invoicing.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and privacy-first analytics.
  • Government and legal authorities — only when required by law (subpoena, valid court order, tax filings).

Cookies

We don't set tracking cookies. The site itself uses no cookies. The only cookies that may appear are set by Stripe during a payment flow (required for fraud prevention) — they expire when the payment ends. Because of this, the site does not show a cookie banner.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you have a baseline of rights over your data. We honor them all globally, including the GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California) standards:

  • Access — ask what data we have on you.
  • Correction — ask us to fix anything wrong.
  • Deletion — ask us to remove your data (we'll keep what tax/legal obligations require us to keep).
  • Portability — ask for an export of your data.
  • Opt-out — unsubscribe from emails any time via the link in any email, or by writing to us.

To exercise any of these, email hello@sikhaygroup.com. We respond within 5 business days.

Data retention

We keep your data only as long as we need it.

  • Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe.
  • Contact-form messages: 12 months, then deleted unless they're part of an active engagement.
  • Engagement records (contracts, invoices, deliverables): 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
  • Stripe transaction history: per Stripe's retention policy.

International transfers

Sikhay LLC is registered in Wyoming, USA. The work is done from the Philippines. Your data may cross borders between PH, the US, and our vendors' regions (Resend, Stripe, Cloudflare each operate globally). Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the privacy frameworks our vendors maintain.

Children

This site and our services are not directed at children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data — TLS for everything in transit, vendor-managed encryption at rest, principle of least privilege internally. No internet service is 100% secure; if a breach affects you, we'll notify you within 72 hours of confirming it.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change. The "Effective" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Material changes get an email to anyone on our list.
